HIGH-MOUNT OUTDOOR CURTAIN PIR/MICROWAVE DETECTOR
The TXI-DAM is a compact, dual-technology, high-mount outdoor motion detector designed to deliver stable and consistent curtain detection for perimeter security applications. Combining PIR and microwave detection with OPTEX’s advanced Triple AND logic (patent pending), it creates an invisible 12 m curtain barrier along a building façade, providing reliable perimeter protection for ground-floor areas, balconies, warehouses, office buildings, and retail premises.
Featuring a unique Quad + Dual PIR configuration and OPTEX’s proprietary SMDA digital logic, the TXI-DAM helps minimise nuisance activations while maintaining reliable detection performance. Pets and small animals moving through the detection zone are designed to be ignored, helping reduce unwanted alarms in environments where animals may be present.
Built-in anti-masking detection provides an additional layer of security by alerting the system if the sensor is deliberately obstructed or tampered with. With an adjustable detection distance to prevent over-ranging and an optional look-down detection zone, the TXI-DAM offers flexible coverage tailored to the specific requirements of each installation—all while maintaining a clean, compact, and discreet profile.
