BATTERY OPERATED HIGH-MOUNT OUTDOOR CURTAIN PIR/MICROWAVE DETECTOR
The TXI-RDAM is a compact, wireless, dual-technology, high-mount outdoor motion detector featuring OPTEX’s advanced Triple AND logic (patent pending). Designed to create a narrow detection barrier along building façades, it delivers reliable outdoor perimeter security for residential properties, balconies, warehouses, office buildings, and retail premises.
Featuring a unique Quad + Dual PIR configuration, enhanced by OPTEX’s proprietary SMDA digital logic, the TXI-RDAM provides reliable pet tolerance while helping minimise nuisance alarms without compromising detection performance against human intruders. Built-in anti-masking detection adds another layer of protection by alerting the system to deliberate obstruction or tampering.
Despite its discreet, palm-sized design, the TXI-RDAM can be mounted at heights of up to 4 m and provides a 12 m detection range, which can be adjusted to prevent over-ranging. An optional look-down detection zone provides additional coverage flexibility, allowing installers to position the sensor according to the specific requirements of each site.
The wireless high-mount design makes the TXI-RDAM particularly well suited to retrofit projects, heritage or listed buildings, and locations where minimising installation work and disruption is a priority.
