FMX-DT

The FMX-DT is a high performance Dual-Technology indoor PIR motion detector for high-end residential and light commercial applications. Our motion detector features quad zone logic, which includes digital target recognition for small animal tolerance. The FMX-DT is our Dual Technology model which combines infra-red and microwave technology to further decrease the chances of unwanted alarms.

The FMX series has 78 dense zones to cover the whole detection area. At any spot within the detection area more than 4 (quad) zones are utlised to verify if an alarm should be generated or not. Additionally, the CORE processor used in the FMX series enables to improve the Quad Zone Logic by providing digital quantification of infrared energy. This enhances the accuracy level to differentiate between human or small animals.

Microwave Signal LogicAdvanced Temperature Compensation Logic
By recognising detection patterns our microwave sensors can distinguish between the cause of nuisance false alarms and genuine intrusions. It is particularly important in applications where the device is exposed to harsh environments as the microwave is responsible for reducing the number of false alarms. The FMX-DT automatically increases the detector's sensitivity under high temperature conditions, especially where the background temperature ranges from 35-37°C(63 - 67°F), close to that of the human body.
